The Rope Grab is a part of a fall arrest system. It protects a worker from falling while climbing or descending, which allows the worker to have more free movement. The rope grab moves freely on an approved type and diameter lifeline. It will lock onto the lifeline in the event of a fall. The removable safety lock pin allows easy placement of the rope grab anywhere along the length of the rope. The 2 inch diameter connecting ring prevents the rollout of the attaching locking snap hook. Easy to operate, hands free operation. To meet OSHA standards using this device you must limit the lanyard length to 3 feet.
